Anxiety is very common amongst the populace. Anxiety itself occurs to almost everyone, every day to some extent, and in itself is not a bad thing, in fact it can be beneficial. An anxiety attack is a brief period where a person experiences debilitating effects due to a recognized or unrecognized trigger, and is not beneficial. Anxiety attacks can affect children through to old age, and can happen to almost anyone within their lifetime.

If you are experiencing regular situations where you go into panic, or you may suffer from a certain phobia or phobias, then this book can help you. If the anxiety attacks are more severe, then this book can help to a certain extent, but medical professional help is the best solution. The last chapter will help with that.

Anxiety has many root causes, and this book explores the different possible triggers, fears, phobias, past events etc. that you may recognize in yourself. For me the Author, I experienced panic attacks when I was in my teens, and still to this day didn’t know exactly why. They subsided after a while, but I still carry fears and phobias around with me that don’t help much, for example fear of being trapped in a lift (Claustrophobia) and fear of flying (Pteromerhanophobia). I practice myself the information in this book, especially the breathing exercises which help calm the body.

After reading this book my goal is for the techniques and knowledge within the book to help you out considerably towards recognizing anxiety and anxiety attacks when they are due, and self treatment and additional methods of reducing or even curing anxiety attacks.
