Before the wide development of the Internet personal diaries, notebooks were quite popular among schoolchildren. It was a way of self-expression, capturing important thoughts, internal analysis, and interaction with the outside world. Unfortunately, only people trained in writing can use them.
The world of a pre-school child is interesting as well. At this age, kids begin to discover a new universe. Every day for them is amazing and unusual. Not yet able to write, children can reflect their impressions in the drawings. Their works can tell a lot about their perception of the world.
Here is a unique diary for children of preschool and elementary school. It will help them to record the most significant events in their growing up by drawing in the form of a comic strip. Kids will learn to write the date of events independently, describe the weather, distinguish the times of the day, and express their emotions in it. These skills are necessary for the further development of the kids in particular for training memory and imagination.
There is a brief questionnaire on the first page of the book, where the children can tell about themselves. The following pages present vivid graphic illustrations. They give the kids a visual representation of such complex concepts as a year, a month, a week, a day. As in any notebooks, there are sheets with the designation of one day. According to the example of filling, the children can add the weather, temperature, and emotions to events.
The kids need to write the date on the left side of the diary. If they cannot do it, adults are encouraged to help them for the first little while. There is supporting information on the right side to allow the children to navigate in time easily.
From an early age, children are skilled to adapt to the adult world. They usually not given the right to choose and vote. We hope this children’s diary will become for them the necessary way of self-expression. It will help them to form opinions and respect for themselves.
