I am sure you will agree with me that the matter of diet is never that easy to discuss. With each passing day in the age of information that we live in, we are continually bombarded by different theories on the best diets to follow. We may be left confused and in disarray with varying information each passing day on things we need to limit in our diets, things we are deficient and need to increase in our diet or even sometimes a call to action to completely change our diet.

Carbohydrates on the other hand are generally to be consumed in really low amounts as better yet at specific times for better muscle growth and maintenance of a lean physique. When we look at most of the food options under a plant based diet, the carbohydrates ingested seem to be much higher than what is currently advocated for in most diet regimes. Like me, you may be wondering; Will I get fat?
