Detective Leslie Lorraine Vardaman is now within her third year of promotion on the Baltimore Police force on the city’s Vice and Narcotics unit of which she is later teamed up with veteran FTO, Lori Campos for her first assignment. While out on a shady raid to a corner house on Howard Avenue, a famous up and coming rapper and positive young advocate of the community is unlawfully killed by Campos in question, sparking a fury of rage inside both Vardaman, and the very city she lived and breathed for all 24 years of her canis lupus life.
