It appears the God of Death bears a harsh vendetta against Sam’s family. Thrice the lunar eclipse darkened the district of Selance; thrice the fangs of death struck. The latest victim is his sister, Sally whose cause of death— like his mother’s a year prior— has coroners baffled.

Miserable and melancholic, Sam realizes Sally’s death has opened a Pandora’s box of oddities: weird sightings, haunting dreams, and nightly visits by characters he can only describe as bizarre . And what should he make of the increased appearance of that man in black who grants wishes while demanding items of glass in return?

Forced to accept the bitter-sweetness of a reality only read about in fairy tales, Sam and his four friends struggle to survive the ravages of what they slowly come to accept as ‘witchcraft’. Consequently, they accept an invitation to a magical school of Metaphysical and Alchemical Studies. But as if the evils of black magic wasn’t enough, love and lust threaten to crawl amid the hormonal teens, uncorking betrayals and turmoil among them.
