News Beta site open

    We had so many romance books (600+ free today, and more in Bargain) that we're spinning off a secodnary site for them. It is in beta, but will go live later today.

    Racy Stories - Free and Romance ebooks from Kobo and Amazon

    Initially this will just take the books from bookangel. Depending on interest we may allow it to take the ones we can't put on bookangel and let people submit books directly to it if they want to. Whether we give it its own newsletter is also up for discussion.

    SQUEE!! It's my kind of site! The kobo ones don't seem to be on bargain though. Is there a bug?

    It's not a bug, it's a feature. A Kobo Feature.

    We have fixed the Kobo feature and the promotions should now be appearing correctly.

    That bug has been fixed but last night we found a major issue with Kobo's feed: they're only giving us access to data for 50% of the books...

    We're going to look at a workaround tonight, but frankly this is the sort of dev work that you should be paying for. Don't expect a fast fix.
