What is your favourite christmas book?

Mine, no surprise, is The Shepherd, Frederick Forsythe's classic christmas tale. It still gives me chills when the Vampire pilot gives up hope, only to see the shadow of another aircraft swinging into formation beneath him in the fog over the North Sea.

  2. I just finished Let It Snow: Three Holiday Stories and thought the concept and execution was excellent. Each story has the same setting, and characters introduced in Story One will connect with those in Two and Three. In other words, you get a very multi-dimensional view of all the people and learn how each are connected. I enjoyed the little surprises revealed in the relationships.

This is very young adult with the usual angst and romance, but each writer handles the characterization and the plot lines well. So far, this season, this is my favorite Christmas story.
