Welcome all to the NYR - 2017 edition.

Last Years came courtesy of Jessica and so let's see how will they survive this year given just what a crap year 2016 was.

...now all I have to do is think about what it was?

Heh - my New Year's resolution was to not have as crappy a year as 2016.

    So far...so good

and those are probably some famous last words a well.

Nope - can't remember what I was supposed to have as a resolution.

Probably spend a little less, save a little more...

That's not hard. It's been a really odd year so far.

What's the use! I have never managed to keep any of my New Year Resolutions for more than few hours so I have stopped doing that.

This year is still less crappy than last year - that can only be a good thing.

I remember when I was in my Grade 4 class we were required to write a New Year's Resolution upon resuming our classes after Christmas vacation and New Year's Day which were legal holidays.

We're breaking our heads on what to write. We're seemed to a parrot that we kept on repeating and repeating our resolutions from Grade 4 until Grade 6 for we're all required to submit. Not only that, in the high school, we're to write our New Year's resolutions. Now when I reached college, I had realized that writing such a litany of Dos and Donts won't do any good. It's just a piece of paper with those resolutions to make but they won't be realized.

I don't have to write in a series of Dos and Donts but I would rather be as what I am doing for anything that is amiss I would have to make it good or even better as a way of life for we are here to search for happiness.

My resolutions this year are very simple. I used to make long, complicated lists and break most of the resolutions by the end of January because of being overwhelmed and I don't want to make that mistake again this year so I only made three. One to do with getting better health, one for increasing my wealth and one for improving my relationship.
