News Site Integration

We are looking at getting the long time waiting site integration up and running again between the main site and the boards.

The general idea is to try and give people who read the main site a reason to sign up and post and for the people who sign up and post more of a reason to look over the main site.

Ideally members would be able to ask for email reminders when a book goes free and also comment directly on threads.

Needless to say, it looks challenging but doable.

If there are any immediate things people would like to see, now is the time to ask.

 

Ok - we've started to put together a reminder system that will send an email out to a signed up user when a book goes into Today's Free or Today's Bargains, both should be accepted.

Just got a few more tweaks to do - like what should go in the email - and it should be available.

 

Ok - the email reminders are done for board users.

If you go to an Upcoming Free or Bargain book page, you can sign up for an email to go out when the book goes into the Free or Bargain Today.
