Distinctive Cat Award 2018 - sneak peak

It's back! This year it is in association with Cat Chat, a charity that helps rescues and shelters rehome cats across the UK. We're sorting out the final details with them now, which is why the announcement was delayed.

We'll make the full announcement in a day or so. One change we are making is that there is now an entry fee at all levels, starting at £1.50 for the first book + cost of book on Amazon, Kobo, or Smashwords. This is because for each book entered, Bookangel will donate £1 of it to CatChat. The rest is to cover Paypal fees etc. because we got gouged last year.

We said we'd add a fee last year to avoid the 'flood of no-cat-present books' problem, but this means we can use the change to help a good cause. After all Stephen was a rescue kitty, so it seems right that his memorial should benefit other rescue cats.

 

Nice to see it's back! I'd never heard of Catchat. So many kittiessss. Can't look awaaaay...
