They have removed validation. Therefore I have won Nano as I just written 15 million words. That is not a typo.

"All Work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"

    Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V. Then Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V.

    31,000 pages.

Word for Windows screaming like the damned when I saved it.

Seriously, if they aren't going to validate, then what is the point? (Yeah, I'm going to write my own original fiction but I'm not going to be messing around with updating them daily if it means just sticking a random number in.)

Ok - checked out the site. Wondered what all the fuss was about.

Realised it was still set as 2014 and I had a load of badges I had won 3 months ago.

Launched a new project and holy hell, it sucks. I'm kinda lost here. Though I would give it a try (even getting as far as the site), but now I'm wondering if I should bother

Last I checked it was still in prepping status. This is ridiculous. How long does it take to make a book?

Still can't figure out where you post your text in and validate it.

Any chance of someone clever here doing something to help out?

Sorry @Kindler, we're not associated with NaNoWriMo in any ways so I'm not sure what we can do to help.

Besides, the only button that seems to matter is the little one at the top that you enter your word count in. Even I could finish Nano this year in one day.

I love the validator:love: but  is there a way to store and track my word count?:p

@jessica, Not yet, but CIAS is working on an option to store them against usernames, with update dates and possibly per-project. There's not much demand for it or we'd put more work in.

I'm on 25,000 typed words and another 2,000 or so in notes, but they aren't good words. My first drafts suck. The characters all sound the same, and aren't that distinct, so I don't want to put it up.
