I got my Kindle second hand with no instructions, but there's odd stuff on it that I know I didn't download. Songs and stuff I know I didn't download. I've synced it and it won't go away. Help?

What model of Kindle is it? Could this be left over from the previous owner?

Its a Fire 7 2015. Yes, I guess its from then, but it was factory-reset.

I've had something similar with a Blackberry. Could they have left a memory card in it? Those files don't get wiped when you reset.

Dunno, but it could be. How do I check? Gotta get to work so I can't fix it now.

As a quick fix, go to Settings (drag your finger down from the top to extend the menu, then tap the cog at the top right), tap Storage, enter your Parental Controls password if you have one, and see if it shows SD Card storage. If it does, scroll down to the bottom and one of the last options is "Erase SD Card". If there's nothing on it you want to keep, click it and see if the odd content vanishes.
