Reddit have updated improved changed their layout to universal acclaim screams of outrage a user reaction. I speak for no others than me, but I personally was absolutely delighted to find using old.reddit.com in the URL let me view the original layout. I know other redditors on here, so do you use new or old?

It's the difference between a functional layout and a pretty looking one with all the bells and whistles that make it hard to see what the hell is going on.

They've also done it so that everything is off the one page with lots of overlays and other trickery. I'm so used to hitting the back button in a browser, I'll need to relearn how to use it for the new theme. So I'll be sticking with the old.

I hate (hate, Hate, HATE:mad:) infinite scrolling. Put me down for old.reddit every time:).

It's not that bad, you know being dragged into the 20th century so it looks half-decent.

I think it's pretty good, but I can see you lot aren't convinced.

I absolutely hate the new Reddit. It might look "prettier" but it just seems more chaotic. My feed is really image-heavy which can make loading everything a real pain. I hope they never take away the link to the old layout. Given how a lot of people have reacted to the change, I doubt they will.

Don't get why they want to add all the extra excerpts. The title should be enough to get a point across. 120 characters works for twitter, doesn't it?

I like the fact it loads all the images and gifs in straightaway. Half of the posts have them embedded so it's easier to see if I want to go and read the comments or just ignore a thread.

I know a lot of people absolutely hate the new Reddit but I'm actually a pretty big fan of it. I like being able to see a snippet of the post so that I really know if I want to bother loading a whole new page for it. I guess I'm lazy like that. It helps me stay away from clickbait too!
