At the WWE Hall of Fame show, it appears that some complete and total idiot got it into his head to try and attack one of the wrestlers who was giving a speech at the time. The speaker was Bert 'The Hitman' Hart, 61-year old, stroke and cancer survivor. The ring was surrounded by over 200 Wrestlers, MMA fighters and combat sports experts who all idolise him as the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. Which he is. This attack lasted less than five seconds before the guy was being tackled by a variety of people all of whom are bigger and nastier than the attacker and determined to ensure that not only did the attack end as quickly as possible, but that he regretted every moment of it until he was forcibly arrested and removed from the arena. There is a very simple rule at a wrestling match, you never cross the ropes or you forfeit your right to safety from being confronted by people who spend their time learning how to wrestle, which is not as fake as you might think if you consider what they put themselves through. Cross that line and all bets are off as wrestlers will quite happily back each other up. Cross that line and attack their idol...well he earned every bit of it that came his way for such a cowardly, disrespectful and above all very, very, very stupid act. Normally, I wouldn't condone violence, but this is one of the few times someone genuinely earned it. Good for them.
