I loved her Flat Earth books, and many of her other fantasy works. She will be missed.

 

I am stunned. Her Flat Earth books were unique, and her fairytale retellings astoundingly beautiful.

"No one is ever ordinary" Tanith Lee.

She will be sadly missed.

 

I have never forgotten her retelling of Snow White. She had a unique writing voice.

 

I loved her work. She was why I wanted to be a writer.

 

Dancing through the Fire, a collection of her short stories, is being released posthumously.

I'll be buying it, but it feels too much like saying goodbye. She would have been 68 today.

 

Looking back, I wonder if S.W.Fairbrother's Vivia Brisk was named for Tanith Lee's heroine Vivia. It could simply be coincidence, but perhaps not.
