We have been looking for someone to volunteer to take over the Twitter account, as our current Tweeter has very little time. Therefore I have been dealing with marketers.

What I received this morning was someone recycling my own checklist back at me, and asking if I would pay him 'to consult'. I have forwarded this along with my notes and there has been a polite decline sent back.

But seriously, who on earth thinks they should charge a fee just to tell us we should be on Facebook? If they are going to charge a fee to get round the issues we face with it and run the thing perhaps, but just to tell us something we already know?
