Moving from Patreon to Kofi?

For people who know the issues with Patreon recently - sponsors are being charged more and creators receiving less - it won't be a surprise that we are moving away from them. The Patreon model hasn't really worked for us, as we were really looking more for a tip jar than a regular subscription thing.

We've started looking at a new startup, Ko-fi, which allows visitors to tip the price of a cup of coffee. This appealled, not jsut because our reviewers go through a lot of tea and coffee, but also because visitors don't have to sign up to Ko-fi to tip, they can just use Paypal.

It also means we can remove another wordpress plugin to try and help the site speed.

What we can't find yet is how to reduce the price to £2.25 so it is actually a coffee, instead of a flat rate 3 dollars or pounds.
