READ BEFORE POSTING

Hi,

We're a friendly lot, but there are a few rules on posting:

1) Don't be a jerk.
2) Don't swear or discuss politics outside the Dive. In the Dive, expect to be fair game for flames, ill manners etc. Remember this is a British board.
3) Don't start new threads in Reviews: those are the comment threads for releases on the main site. Likewise be cautious about starting new threads in News - its news about the site.
4) READ THE THREAD before commenting. At least read the thread starter and scan the rest. Try and add something to the discussion, not repeat those before you.

And remember we focus on Indie and Small Press Books, usually released as ebooks. Reviews and comments are about those, not classics or books released by any of the big six.

If you obviously haven't read these before posting there will be problems. The admins will not step in to protect you if you post a something that breaks these: we'll just let the members handle it.

Also remember again this is a British Board, this includes Scotland and Wales, (technically not Ireland as our Irish member now lives in London) but yeah, they are a bit blunter with lower tolerance for rubbish than most US boards. We reserve the right to point and laugh at US politics, largely because that's the typical reaction to our own clueless muppets politicians cross-party.

(Updated 11th April 2015: We've just had a "Princess Bride is great" thread started in the wrong place. Great, but a) it's not indie, and b) the thread starter should expect a round of merciless mocking and tired "We knows." Admins are not stepping in. Updated2: that's what happened.)
