Where do you publish your work? Most people use Amazon, but there's at least one writer on here I know of who makes $40 a month through Smashwords and nothing on Amazon. There's also someone who pulled everything off Smashwords for the opposite reason.

Ok, I normally write non-fiction, so much of my work ends up just on websites available free (or pirated by stealing, thieving, non-paying.... *ahem* anyway), or Smashwords if the person I am writing for is on there. I tend to prefer writing for content sites, so I know I am an oddity on here.

Amazon. I tried all of them. Smashwords, Kobo, and all. But, ultimately I decided to stick with Amazon because it's the bigger market and people actually bought my books on Amazon. Of course, they're sort of taking advantage of writers because they keep squeezing royalties away. But, still, I want to stick to the place where I get readership.

  3. I'm also a Amazon author. I found it easier and that's where I was selling, so it seemed the best idea to go with them.

Smashwords. I like their platform and Amazon is is enough as it is. I haven't sold anything yet but I just started with it, so I'll give it some time.
