How do you write your story?

I usually have notes on the plots that I have been collecting so when I start to write a story, all I do is to review a particular plot and writing is easier to start (although usually the snag emerges in the midway of my writing). Sometimes I write a story outline first before writing the story itself so my direction will be defined and I would't stray. That is one problem of writing when you are a beginner, the story strays with an obvious lack of focus. Even for short stories, an outline is very important to me because it serves as my guide to the movement of the story on my mind.

Starting may look a bit tough as I would have to try to have a clear picture of what I am about to write on. I normally get a jotter where I'd first write down the points I am going to elaborate on. Once I am done with the jottings my story would then go smoothly. I'm able to write exhaustively on any story once I am able to have a sketch of areas I like to touch. It takes time and energy many times to draft out the story pattern.

Having read as many books as I have, I have a clear idea as to how to frame the whole thing. There were some books I would re-read for the sole purpose of analyzing how the author laid it all out. I would take notes and just remember how it was done.
