Why we manually check content...

    For those who complain about us manually checking content and the time it takes to review offsite blog links, this came in this morning...
    They left that on a children's book.

    ...like the things some people class as children's books.

    That's really not very nice, especially on a children's book. Why do people do things like this? They can't think they will do more than irritate people.

    Considering some of the types of people who haunt the halls of the internet, manual checks are pretty much a necessity. Especially on sites where people can comment.

    I totally agree. There are a lot of people out there who are just looking for a chance to take advantage of sites such as this one for their own gain. I think it's always a good idea to manually check the content no matter what some people say. In fact, for those with no intention of abusing the system there is no worry there.
