This book is going to give you techniques that you can use to work through Scriptures in a way to get as much out of it as you can. We’ll go through methods for finding Scriptures to study, ways to analyze the texts, and what to do when you’re done. After reading this, however, you won’t be able to say, “But I don’t know how to study!” You’ll be able to use these techniques to study on your own or even to teach others.
There are quicker ways to go from Reading to Sharing, like just reading what someone else has discovered, but the methods described in this book are ways for you to go digging in the Scriptures for yourself. You won’t need to wait for someone to explain the Scriptures to you – You’ll have techniques to find explanations on your own.
It would be a good idea to read this with a Bible nearby, because we’re going to do our own Bible Study together as we go through the book. You won’t just being told how to study, you will be shown examples at every step of the way. Let’s get started!
