Dr. Lawrence Jansen loses his wife and his world. The most powerful force in the universe kills off nearly all plant and animal life on Earth, and human survivors are few and far between.
In the aftermath of the cataclysm, Larry Jansen also fears he has lost his mind.
A young man claiming to be Satan offers to help him regrow the Garden of Eden, between the Tigris and Euphrates, so that any survivors might have food. The supposed devil assures Dr. Jansen that if they do, not only the planet, but also his wife, can live again. With no other options, the scientist agrees to help ‘Beelzebub’ with the task.
Is love even more powerful that a gamma ray burst? Is there a way to restore hope to a barren world and a barren heart? Or, is it all a trick of a fractured, ancient soul?
Author’s note: There is a bit of science and philosophy before you get to the love story… be prepared for that : ) It’s good for your brain.
