This non-fiction book is designed as a children's starter guide to Crocodiles. Covering a wide range of topics about them from their size, to what they eat, to where they come from, it is an interesting and informative piece that is well written. Alongside the text is a wide range of excellent photos which provide several great shots of crocodiles for kids to look at.

The chapters are fairly short, but cover enough information for anyone to enjoy without getting bored. The writing style is engaging and keeps your interest as you move from one fact to the next.

As a starter book, I would recommend it to almost anyone, but certainly to its target audience and as it is part of a series, there are several others that are also worth checking out.
