Hannah, the handmaid and best friend to Princess Aleena, is happily preparing for her friend's marriage to Prince Ronald. When the Princess is kidnapped before the wedding by the Prince of the Bugbears, Hanah bravely sets off to rescue her mistress. With a full cast of likeable well written characters from the Palace Chef to the Minister, and even the antagonist, this is an entrancing tale suitable for younger readers (0-8) - and able to keep adults awake as well! I spotted no typos or grammar errors, and although the language is simple it flows well. There are a few longer words, like "inauspicious", which will stretch early readers, but nothing that would make them stop reading. The formatting deserves a mention, just for the wonderful use of colour for the titles, if your Kindle supports it. In conclusion, this is a sweet and entrancing tale for young children, able to stretch readers with larger vocabulary if they read it themselves. It is perfect to read in bed to younger children, or to amuse them on a rainy afternoon. Tom Stephen has crafted the rare example of a book ideal for its audience: 4 stars. Rating:4
