We’re now sending our emails through Sendgrid, as the bandwidth was a little much for our servers.
With this extra infrastructure, we have added a new “Books by Genre” daily email. By default, when you sign up, you are subscribed to “All Fiction”, but by clicking the profile link in your email you can add Non-fiction Genres, and narrow this down. For example, if you only want romance, you can uncheck the other genres.
This email also includes excerpts about the books, and a link to our reviews if we have reviewed it. It also contains links to third party reviews, so bloggers linking their reviews to us will now get a bit of extra promotion.
We’ve added a signup bar to the top of the page, which appears to be a great success given the numbers of subscribers so far.
