But the Guardians have other problems. Salome is forced to confront her loss as she packs up the home she shared with her late husband, Abe. David discovers his wife has a shocking secret and Isaac finds it hard to tear himself away from his best friend’s widow, after speaking at his funeral. Ex-Guardian Saul is forced to team up with an unlikely ally: a man who tried to kill him, under the instruction of the Sixx themselves.
Together, they plot to infiltrate the Nest, to retrieve four Guardian bracelets, stolen by the Sixx over thirty years ago. But along the way, they discover another plot, more hideous than any of them could ever have imagined.
New Guardians will join the team, but there is no guarantee that they will all survive the chaos to come in this exciting new installment to the Guardians series.

Early on Friday morning, twenty box trucks started their journey on quiet roads. None of them were the same; various makes and models, with different images and logos emblazoned on their sides. Some for chips, others for drinks and other products, some were simply plain. Eight of them were filled with explosives, set to explode an hour apart on Saturday, the other twelve were decoys. Each truck had a driver and a passenger, but none of them knew the deadly cargo they were hauling.
