“A.B.E.” is an ‘epic’ poem. It encapsulates many of the themes in the “KEYSTONE (PENOLOGY)” series. It is primarily about Allentown – Bethlehem – Easton. In the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. What it means to grow up there and in America. It is designed as a canto or song. It is heavily inspired by the poetic work “Paterson” By: William Carlos Williams as well as “The Cantos” By: Ezra Pound. It is also about growing up on Lincoln Lane and what Lincoln means to American society and to me as a writer and person.
