A Soldier’s Journey…. “A Daughter’s Hero”, was written to share the life of -my Hero- my Dad
Following the loss of my father, I was inspired to research his Vietnam experience to create understanding about his life and struggles with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Alcoholism.
He served in the U.S. Army from March 1968–October 1970. He was sent to Vietnam as a Light Equipment Engineer with the 557th Engineer Company in August 1968.
The book was written to raise awareness of the devastating effects of war and the impact that war has on some veterans and their families.
It also shares the unconditional love and compassion between a daughter and her father.
A tribute to a Veteran of Vietnam. ~ Never Forgotten ~
