I would like to take you on a journey. It’s an exciting one, without doubt the most thrilling of all voyages. In an adventure of learning through marvelling at what life shows us, we’ll encounter hidden depths whilst hiking in my own locale, the `great outdoors’ of Dumfries and Galloway. But we will also reach beyond, way beyond, out into the incredible vastness of the cosmos and deep into the depths of beauty held by our earth.
But this is not just a journey through the solid terrain of the physical. It’s an expedition into the inner world of our thoughts, perceptions and feelings. We will probe the nature of reality and reflect upon the struggles of humanity to comprehend it. We will contemplate the nature of the soul, scratch our heads in bewilderment over the mysterious flow of time, and explore the meaning of life. And I will take you into another life that lies outside of our bodies.
It’s a place elsewhere, the territory which lays beyond the world of matter, filling silence and empty spaces and endowing the physical with beauty. It’s a place we’ll love, because it is the home of love itself.
There is no fuller path to walk. And we’ll have some laughs on the way. Come with me and feel the awe.
