I am always impressed when I have engineering related conversations with non-engineering family and friends, to find out that they have very good intuitive design related ideas. And that type of audience is who this book is written for. The everyday person who would like to be challenged to think in a different way and who can appreciate the purpose and function of a design.
In this book, I take three examples from my related engineering work, research, and life experiences and pose the design problem for an everyday person to understand. I challenge the reader to take time and to think out, sketch out, and process each problem to brainstorm possible solutions. Then I will describe the solution that was implemented for each case. This book will have no math in it! It is hoped that the reader will be somewhat challenged in their existing knowledge and come away with some added appreciation of engineering ideas.
This book is intended to be a short but informative read. It is 23 pages long.
