Joshua must find his way into a hard life in a town where everyone hates him. Falling in love with the only person who actually talked to him in school was just a mistake. Developing a relationship with the girlfriend of the one person who hated him the most would be next to impossible. With his life torn apart to impress the one girl who cared for him Joshua steals an ancient jewel encrusted stone that rested in his Uncles display case. Now running from the police and hiding on the dig site of his new home Joshua falls down a covered well and is consumed in the soft earth below. In his struggle to stay alive Joshua mistakenly uncovers ancient artifacts buried deep beneath the ground. Artifacts resurrected by his life’s blood giving power to transport him to another spatial time dimension. Cast into restraints and enslaved by brutal alien task masters who capture him Joshua must learn to adapt to his new surroundings facing his most dreaded fears. Fighting to stay alive, surviving many horrible battles on distant worlds Joshua is reborn into an elite fighting regiment called the Fighting Brood, a holy fighting sect, chosen to carry their gods’ message to convert the unbelievers on the worlds they conquer. Their simple spoken message was a sentence of Death.
Turning on his God and falling back to the world where he was torn from Joshua now faces new challenges of adapting back to some sort of a normal existence. Hard choices now have to be made in Joshua’s life. Denying the alien world that transformed his life or battling the townspeople for the only person that has somehow fallen in love with him.
