Christchurch, New Zealand. September 2010.
In the early hours of the morning came the noise of a freight train and the ferocious shaking the like of which this South Island city had never experienced. A 7.1 magnitude earthquake came without warning or prejudice. This is a personal account of the lasting effects of that day and the effects of all the earthquakes that were to follow, a series of devastating events which were to have a lifelong impact on all who experienced them.
This is the story of how the fury of Mother Nature changed the lives and direction of not only one family, but of every citizen of the city of Christchurch.
