This book aims at helping the adult learner of English to have the confidence to write in English. As means to this end, he presents basic grammar (the usual suspects: parts of speech, word groupings, punctuation, etc.), spelling, and style and usage. The book is not only a grammar loaded with exercises and answers. It is also a reference book with useful lists of roots, suffixes and prefixes, common spelling errors, irregular verbs, basic vocabulary, common idioms, etc. The book’s achieves its final objective of inspiring the learner to write by presenting a simple method of organizing the content and process of composition.
