Fate seems determined to keep bringing Doctor Derek Silverton into Rachel’s life during the most embarrassing and inopportune moments – one of which causes him to think she needs medical attention.
That’s because he’s unaware she is working undercover as a covert consumer (secret shopper) and some of her assignments are…well, pretty bizarre.
Rachel wants to tell him the truth about her job, especially when she realizes she’s developing a crush on him…but she can’t.
After all, it’s called “secret” shopper for a reason.
And for all she knows, his family could own one of the businesses she is assigned to evaluate on a regular basis.
Which, as it turns out…they do.
