A touching inspirational story of faith and finding your purpose at Riverdale Terrace.
Reid Crenshaw’s father is a minister, the kind of man everyone looks up to. Bolstered by his father’s belief in him and a strong faith in God, he enters the seminary with every intention of following in his father’s footsteps.
However, in the seminary, he finds only dissatisfaction. His connection to God is stretched thin, and the teachings at school lack the personal, heartfelt connection he witnessed in his youth. “And as rigorous as the seminary was, they were creating average ministers, with only average connections to God.
Disillusioned, he turns to girls and alcohol and is soon asked to leave the seminary. Now, he has lost his way – and he knows it is his own fault. He had let it happen.
Drifting now, he settles into his new life in Riverdale Terrace and tries not to think about the future, until he notices Amanda, a homeless girl sitting outside the building. She wants him to leave her alone, but the ministry is in his heart. He hears God’s voice, and he turns toward the sound. Can he find his way back in time to get Amanda off the streets and save them both?
