It’s the early 1980s in Camden, two-tone and punk are pulsing in the air and everyone at school seems to be talking about the four minute warning. Two best friends, Jimmy and Karen, are about to embark on their own adventures – romance, politics, tangled friendships, parental problems, an attack on a nuclear base… It’s not surprising they like to calm down with a joint or two.
But someone is watching what they’re up to and watching closely.
This is a story about love, sex, spying and nuclear weapons. Just normal sixteen-year old stuff.
