John Walker — recently divorced and living in a motorhome near the beach in Florida — seems to be on a lucky streak. No
matter what he does, he comes out a winner. He’s won the lottery, found a pot of gold, and met the perfect woman.
But things are rarely as they seem, and Walker’s good luck comes with a few complications. His perfect woman ‘needs some space,’ and suggests he take a vacation on the other side of the state – without her. So Walker packs up his motorhome, aka ‘The Love Bus’, and heads over to Florida’s Treasure Coast, to camp out and search for long lost gold from the Spanish Fleet wreck of 1715.
Along for the ride is Mango Bob (the cat with no tail). The unlikely pair head out for a treasure hunting adventure, and are soon caught up in a deadly storm that brings with it a gun-toting mystery woman whose secrets could change Walker’s life forever. Helping Walker dig his way out of trouble is Jake the Wonder Dog, who has a nose for gold and a habit of befriending eccentric characters.
Will Walker find treasure? Does Mango Bob survive the trip? What is the mystery woman’s real reason for latching onto the Love Bus? Can Jake the Wonder Dog lead Walker to gold, or something even more valuable? All the answers are revealed in this rollicking adventure set in the Sunshine State.
Mango Lucky is the second book in the Mango Bob adventure series, set in the Sunshine State and featuring John Walker, Mango Bob, and the Love Bus. (Note: no graphic violence, no explicit sex, just a fun story with likeable characters. You’ll be glad you read it.)
