Mayor Sam Ryker feels that something very sinister is going on in his town of Nexus. Much of the population is suddenly leaving and strangers are quickly taking their place. He contacts a friend he knows in the FBI to ask him to investigate.
Special Agent Candace Caine is brutally attacked and nearly killed and she doesn’t know why.
Through a series of circumstances Agent Caine, a psychic police detective, and a bounty hunter are drawn to caves underneath the town. Once there they stumble upon three prisoners locked away in cells. One of them is a man with four perfectly formed arms. But his arms are not all that is unique about him.
To free the prisoners they must find the central computer. On the way they are faced with formidable foes who are bent on stopping them. One such person has the ability to transform to a terrifying creature.
A great battle ensues. Not only are the prisoner’s lives at stake, but the lives of the entire town of Nexus.
