Addiction destroys erodes and diminishes a person’s spirit, and even if you are not an addict living with or close to
someone that is consumed in addiction can eventually feel like you are the addict. I know this was true for me.
My life became more and more insane and I became growingly confused and obsessed with trying to manage both
my life as well as my addicted spouse.
Fortunately a friend of mine that had dealt with an alcoholic spouse helped me start to understand exactly what
I had to do to start to unwind the mess that my life had become. I thank God for her help as I had tried unsuccessfully
to manage my marriage and life.
