Robert Munro, a therapist specializing in dream interpretation, awoke one morning to find himself in a dream from which he could not awaken. Experiencing first hand the limitations of his own training and theories, he must solve the puzzle of his own dream in order to break free from its bondage. In the process, he’ll better understand himself, other people, and the nature of consciousness itself.

Dermot Davis’s Stormy Weather kept me turning pages to see what was going to happen next. Was Robert losing his mind? What was real and what was his imagination and where was this plot going? This author kept me guessing almost to the last page. My favorite character was Allison. She came across as sweet and innocent. The other characters are well done and even the secondary ones add much to the plot without overpowering it. The plot reminded me a wee bit of Dickens’ Christmas Carol, Alice in Wonderland, and the Wizard of Oz all rolled into one. The author demonstrates that we often forget the dreams of our youth. We forget what it means to have fun, for we become too wrapped up in adulthood.” – Anne Boling for Readers’ Favorite
