Daniel Furrow has a double murder of twin brothers to solve. One that challenges even his abilities as a detective. He starts questioning himself, as well as the things he thought he knew. A mysterious woman appears, writing about the crimes as they happen. Surely, nobody else knows about the details to such an extent, except the killer herself? But why is he convinced that he is looking for a woman? The unsolved cases keep piling on his desk, and there is only one way to solve them: he needs to find out the true identity of the mystery woman who has him wrapped around her fingers.
