Synopsis
Ruk and Keira, the first two humans to set foot on the Grand Circle of Light – a utopian world created by the god Luel and made up of what are known as Circles of Light.
It is here that they meet a race of angels whose logical minds best serve to teach everything there is to know about circles of light and how they interact with one another in perfect harmony.
However, the logical minds of the angels come up against Ruk and Keira’s compassion when it is decided that the angels are to capture the one and only elusive creature in the land – a unicorn.
It is after this decision that events begin to unfold, showing Ruk and Keira that behind the positive, utopian beauty of the grand circle of light, lies a shadow unknown to them…one that has waited to reveal itself.
Review
‘This is a wonderful and enchanting book and I loved it. It is magical and such a joy to read. I was swept away into a wondrous adventure and I did not want to return. The emotions are real and there is so much going on, I could not put it down.
The characters are amazing and so well defined, each of them blending to make it so compelling. Ruk is incredible and his bond with Keira is beautiful. The innocence and curiosity they show in their quest to find themselves is heart warming. Their journey to save the unicorn, as well as all living things is filled with magic and kept me reading.
The attention to detailing is outstanding. So beautifully described and made me feel as if I were there. The strange world came to life before me and captured my mind and the very core of my soul.
It is written in a smooth and lovely flow and very easy to stay with and to understand. I love the style and mind of the author A.D.S Jannece. His love and passion for this story is so clear and awesome. He is a brilliant writer and so gifted and talented and I would love to read more of his incredible imagination.
This is truly one of the best books I have read and I will be reading it again. It would make an amazing movie. I definitely recommend it to everyone. It’s magic will consume you and make you smile’.
