Hundreds of books have been written, and millions of magazines articles published, that describe in minute detail the ‘how-to’ of hunting. But that is not this book. Instead, within these pages exists a brief, though intimate glimpse of that special society within a society – sportsmen.
This is a collection of writings that you may find to be humorous, satirical or sometimes serious and, in a rare instance or two, even philosophical. It is written for the hunter but anyone is welcome in my camp – if they are willing to come with an open mind and a sincere heart. So pull up a log, grab a cup o’ joe and make yourself comfortable.
