In the first few months of my newborn’s life, I started to question whether or not I really had what it took to be a mother. Every night, without fail, just as I had stopped listening to every rustle of his movement and decided to let my mind rest, he would wake up screaming. I would just about get him back to sleep after holding him and calming him down enough, and twenty minutes later, he would be screaming again.
