The Sky Between Two Worlds–Kantak’s Story is a young adult science fiction thriller of intrigue, love, war and survival in a world of titanic East-West conflict. The story is told by Kantak Johnson and his young friends. It’s 2031, and the world is divided between two hostile superpowers–East and West. About to graduate from MIT, Kantak hears classmate Harvey Jamison describe a new material that he discovered in a research project, a material that can absorb microwaves. Kantak recognizes that Harvey’s material can make stealth warplanes invisible to radar. He and Harvey disclose it to the Air Force. Harvey’s professor, no friend of the West, also recognizes this use of the material and discloses it to the East. The young men are suddenly thrown into a world of international intrigue. The students are faced with professional assassins, and the West is faced with shifting world power and the enormous consequences of a drone strike gone tragically awry. The book is characterized as Young Adult Fiction, Action&Adventure. It can also be considered as a Military Technothriller with a pinch of Science Fiction.
