From the book:

“I wave and smile, and he waves and smiles back. I hope he likes my baseball shirt. It’s one of my favorites! I decide that this will do for now, just watching them do the lawn. Doesn’t take much to amuse me. I wonder how much money his brother is making for the work, and how much my friend is making, helping him out. Not a bad way to make a few bucks, I decide.

The next sound I hear will change my life forever.

There is suddenly a grinding noise of metal against metal, a horrible sound like someone was throwing a wrench into a wood chipper machine. It only lasts for a second, and hurts my ears, a little, but that’s nothing like what happens next… the sound and feel of something slapping my neck, hard, which knocks me back a few steps.

‘What was THAT??’, I say, out loud. No one can hear this, over the sound of the mower, of course. I feel the spot where the object hit me, and I’m kinda shocked to feel a large, hard object sticking out of my neck, and the feeling of a warm, thin trickle of water running down it, as well; it feels cool, now, in the morning air. Only, it’s not WATER. As I pull my hand away from the liquid I wiped on my hand, I see the crimson color staining my fingers. Oh.”

What Makes Us Fear DEATH?

This might be the most important question EVER!

What IS death? What is waiting for us on the “other side”?

The question man has been wrestling with, writing about, theorizing about and pondering for as long as he’s been around.

Imagine dying almost as soon as you are born…and remembering what you saw on “the other side” for the rest of your life. Now, imagine that happening 3 MORE TIMES in your lifetime…and being sent back to Earth to teach what you experienced, each time!

This is exactly what happened to Gary Gillett, and with a newly-awakening world more concerned with spirituality and self-realization than materialism, he’s finally decided that it’s time to share his mission with those with ‘eyes to see’ and ‘ears to hear’ the messages imparted to him.

More than 25 years in the making, “This Boy” is the blending and harmonizing of spirituality and humor which has permeated Gary’s life, and his daily affirmation to be ‘where he is needed’ for his fellow humans on their OWN journey, adding pieces to the puzzle we each contain, while gathering pieces for his own growth as he justifies his return from so many near-death experiences.

This book entails with love, humor, clarity, and vivid imagery his near-death experiences, his trials and tribulations…and a vision for the future of humanity.

Gary Gillett is a freelance writer, humorist and award-winning voice actor with projects in dozens of countries, as well as a poet and teacher of metaphysics. He has the ability to transform into hundreds of characters right before your ears and eyes, all with the same message: teach love.

Mentoring on an individual basis for decades, Gary can also be heard on various metaphysical and esoteric radio programs internationally such as “The X-Zone”, “The Other Side of Midnight”, and “Late Night in the Midlands with Michael Vara”, to mention only a few.

Gary currently resides in Maui, Hawaii, with plans to host his own radio show and continue exploring a life without boundaries.

Find out more about what Gary learned, and was sent back to impart to those ready to hear.

What did the entities tell Gary when he died at birth?

What was he told to say which convinced his VERY skeptical father about the afterlife?

What did his mother tell him to say at her eulogy after she died, leaving everyone present in tears?

What shocking information did he receive from the “other side” when he died at 8 years of age?

How did his father let him know he was still present after he died?
