Prostate Cancer is a malignant tumor that develops in the prostatic tissues of the prostate, a gland in the male reproductive system. The abnormal development of cells in the prostate is the effect of unbalanced growth of prostatic acinar cells. Prostate cancer commonly develops among males who are younger than 45 years old and most common to develop in elderly males. There are no symptoms to indicate that one has it in the earlier stages of this condition, but there are signs to watch out for should one considers himself risky of the cancer, such as difficulty in urinating, among others. Prostate cancer can widely spread the blood and veins, then typically extend to the lungs and bones. The pelvis, vertebra, ribs, femurs and clavicles are usually affected too. Pain can be felt in these areas and should not be ignored.
Dealing with prostate cancer is emotionally and physically difficult. It affects the family and everyone closely connected with the patient. One needs a lifetime to adjust and accept the reality. If detected of this condition, it does not tell that the victim of it must stop living.
