These inexplicable occurrences had become a disturbing pattern over the past few weeks, leaving Patrick both bewildered and strangely resilient. Then started a series of Evil spells. The second Spell jolted Patrick to the core. He saw the entire bedroom glowing in vibrant color. As the glow waned, Patrick?s eyes widened in terror. Emerging from the very roof above him was a grotesque hybrid: a wolf?s head atop a human body. Its crimson eyes bore into him, while its lower half resembled a bloodied, filth-covered human form. Patrick?s voice caught in his throat; he tried to scream, but the sound remained trapped within. Frozen, powerless, he watched as the spectral creature circled him. The boundary between nightmare and reality blurred, and Patrick wondered if he was losing his sanity. The room held secrets darker than he could fathom, and the wolf-headed apparition was just the beginning. The wolf?s head loomed impossibly close, its fetid breath assaulting Patrick?s senses. Fear clenched his chest; he believed this was the end, that the grotesque creature would surely tear him apart. Desperate, he tried to scream, to rouse Ursula from her peaceful slumber, but his voice remained trapped, and his limbs refused to obey. Ursula was always by his side at every incidence that occurred to Patrick, but it seems every time she was in sleep and did not witness what happened to Patrick. He narrated the first two horrific experiences to Ursula. She decided to take this Evil spell heads on. In the meantime, the clam community of Mandeville was stirred with fear as two murders happened in a span of two weeks.
This is paranormal and murder mystery which defies the science. Ursula’s resolve intensified. Against all odds; she destroyed the Evil spell.
