Gazing upon a starry sky, looking out of a window, Allan decides to tell his life story one last time. Story of his journey in a third-world country whose people are struggling with discrimination, suppression, as well as inflation under a corrupt regime, doubting his actions while fearing what awaits him. Just because he chose to stand instead of running away, like many men before him, does he really deserve what had befallen him?
Allan certainly struggles to convince others of the truth, but he is more persistent than people give him credit. It is believed that the reason he chose to narrate his journey through life with all of its ups and downs for anyone who was willing to listen, was the last ounce of hope left within him. The real reason, however, has stayed a mystery until now ….
